All Zorgers nurses are formally qualified - ANM, GNM or BSc Nursing - and are assessed and deployed based on their skill set. Every Zorgers nurse holds a formal nursing qualification. We deploy nurses based on their qualification and clinical experience - matching skill to the patient's actual care complexity:
2-year diploma program covering basic nursing care, community health, and maternal and child health. ANM nurses handle general elder care, vitals monitoring, basic wound dressing, medication administration, and companionship-level nursing for elderly patients.
3.5-year diploma (3 years training + 6 months internship) with clinical rotations across medical, surgical, pediatric and obstetric wards. GNM nurses manage most home nursing procedures - wound care, injections, catheter care, NG tube feeding, IV administration, post-operative nursing.
4-year degree program with comprehensive clinical and theoretical training. BSc nurses frequently come with ICU or critical care ward experience and are assigned to complex home cases - ventilator-dependent patients, tracheostomy care, cardiac monitoring, and ICU-equivalent care at home.
When a family hires a nurse through a local contact or a one-person arrangement, they get one nurse. When that nurse gets sick, goes on leave, or has a personal emergency - there is no backup. Across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana where we do not have a local office, we serve families with 24-hour live-in nursing only. A trained nurse stays at the patient's home continuously - which is suitable for most critical and long-term nursing needs in these areas. Short visits, day shifts and night shifts are not available in these locations.

A trained nurse stays at the patient's home continuously. Short visits, day care and night shifts are not available in these remote locations. In our office cities (Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Gurugram, Delhi) the full range of shift options is available.
