No, in the case of 24-hour services, the family representatives should ensure comfortable resting and sleep periods of 6 - 7 hours on their premises. Live-in Caregivers are trained to manage the work even if the elderly/patient needs them during the night. We suggest making arrangements for their bedding near the patient's area so that they will be accessible to the patient's needs during the night on-demand/call.
We don't recommend allowing friends or family of any caregivers at your home.
