The nurse found mom's interests, helped and encouraged her to keep her mind and body active. I am convinced Mom stayed active longer because of her encouragement. When mom became bedridden, the nurse made sure mom was clean, eating, and changed positions in bed regularly. She took time to encourage us to keep up the service on days she was not there.
